Natural Turquoise, because of it's popularity, is becoming harder to obtain and as a consequence is becoming more expensive.

We purchase most of our stock from the US. The Kingston and Sleeping Beauty mines in Arizona produce the best quality turquoise available today.

Synthetic Turquoise

Synthetic or man made Turquoise is becoming more popular as it is considerably cheaper than the natural product.

The two most popular gemstones used are White Howlite and White Agate. These are permantly dyed under high pressure and in most cases are resin impregnated. In some instances it is difficult to tell the synthetic product from the real thing.
